Kristy is a Registered Practitioner Assistant (RPA) with nearly 28 years of experience in radiology currently employed at Radiology Consultants of Iowa in Cedar Rapids. Kristy resides in Fairfield, Iowa, with her husband and is a proud mother of two daughters and grandmother to three granddaughters.
Kristy holds certifications in Mammography and Quality Management through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), complementing her registry in radiography. Throughout her career, she has held a range of pivotal roles, including staff technologist, lead mammographer, trauma and operating room technologist, chief technologist, and clinical instructor at Casper College in Wyoming. Kristy also holds a certification as an EMT in Iowa and volunteer with my local Fire and Rescue department, where she serves as the EMS service director.
Kristy has been honored to represent Region 3 as the Mammography and Quality Management delegate to the ASRT House of Delegates for several years. Her leadership contributions extend to the Wyoming Society of Radiologic Technologists, where she served as Secretary and President-Elect. Kristy has been a featured speaker at numerous educational meetings at both local and statewide levels.
